Katelyn partners with her developer and institutions clients to address the obstacles they face when building and managing construction projects, including challenging subsurface, waterfront, and environmental conditions. She works closely with her clients to address these challenges while ensuring their projects are on time and on budget.
Katelyn taps into her ability to provide careful research and thoughtful design planning to find creative, cost-efficient solutions. For example, during a recent project her team reused hundreds of granite blocks from a buried seawall to create an inviting waterfront landscape for a former brownfield site.
“I love uncovering the forgotten history of brownfield sites – former riverbeds, buried seawalls, remnant foundations, filled land, and undiscovered wastes – and finding creative solutions to make the space functional and beautiful again.”
