At an early age Lynn’s father taught her about the importance of and involved her in advocating for the environment. Since that point she knew she wanted to be an environmental leader working on novel, challenging projects. Over the past more than 35 years, Lynn has focused on advocating for her clients and the environment while siting and licensing energy projects, including permitting almost 30,000 megawatts of generating capacity.
Lynn has worked with facilities nationwide, including fossil fuel-fired power facilities, renewable energy facilities (on and offshore wind, solar, battery storage), natural gas pipelines, and electric transmission lines. With Lynn’s experience in consulting and as a former corporate environmental permitting specialist, her understanding of the energy market and environmental requirements allows her to anticipate potential issues and facilitate the development, construction, and operational timeline. She passionately advocates for her clients, while respecting and seeking common ground with regulatory agencies and members of the public.
“Being an integral part of many different client teams helps me to be flexible – and I learn something new every day. Because of that continual learning, I’m able to make good projects better, turn ideas into constructed energy facilities, and ultimately, help my clients realize their vision.”
