For the past nearly 20 years at Haley & Aldrich, Mike has served as a project engineer, project manager, and client leader for a wide variety of geotechnical and environmental design and construction projects. His responsibilities have ranged from design to construction administration for underground spaces, tunnels, and major building projects for both private and public clients.
As Haley & Aldrich’s director of field services, Mike also leads the training and development of the company’s technicians and engineers performing field work, forecasts field workloads, and provides technical oversight of field projects. He also oversees Haley & Aldrich’s geotechnical laboratory in Boston and leads the company’s initiative to collect and process field data electronically.
“Engineering is in my blood as I am a second-generation geotechnical engineer. I grew up trudging around on muddy construction sites and watching piles go in the ground. I particularly like the challenge of geotechnical engineering because no two sites are the same.”
