Rick is a recognized thought leader in integrated closure planning for new mine facilities, including reclamation and closure of heap leach, tailings, and mine waste impoundments. He has published or presented to expert audiences at conferences in the U.S., Canada, and Chile. Rick’s hands-on experiences with permitting, operations, construction, and closure, combined with practical water balance capabilities and remediation/mitigation experience, is considered a unique skill set in the mining industry.
