Burlington, Mass., March 16, 2020 – Haley & Aldrich announced today that Athena C. DeNivo, P.E., has joined the firm in its New York office as an Associate and Geotechnical Engineer. She brings 25 years of geotechnical experience managing complex development and infrastructure projects in the New York City tri-state area.

Prior to Haley & Aldrich, DeNivo worked at two prominent engineering companies where she specialized in planning and managing subsurface investigations, settlement and stability analyses, foundation design, and flood mitigation. Her New York City project experience includes the new JP Morgan Chase New Midtown Headquarters, several projects at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, numerous waterfront projects along the East and Hudson Rivers, and a variety of rail projects involving NYC Transit, Amtrak, and Long Island Railroad.
DeNivo has both a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. She is a Professional Engineer in New York and an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
