Urban development expert Kate Dilawari to lead Haley & Aldrich’s real estate market

Burlington, Mass., Feb. 26, 2025 — Haley & Aldrich is pleased to announce that longtime Principal Consultant Kate Dilawari will lead its real estate market. Kate will guide Haley & Aldrich’s efforts to understand and anticipate market forces, ensuring that the company continues to deliver the highest-value solutions to clients.

Real estate industry clients rely on Haley & Aldrich for integrated services related to all aspects of development projects, including environmental due diligence, site investigations, geotechnical engineering, environmental regulatory compliance, excavated soil management, brownfield redevelopment, geothermal energy, and resilience planning.

Kate will work to expand these offerings beyond Haley & Aldrich’s well-established presence in the Northeast, Northwest, and New York markets to the Southeast and mid-Atlantic, where the company has recently opened offices. She will also focus on growing Haley & Aldrich’s capacity in forward-looking areas such as climate change risk.

“With a technical background in both the engineering and environmental challenges that shape every stage of a real estate project, Kate exemplifies our multidisciplinary approach to serving the market,” said Haley & Aldrich Chief Client Officer Lisa Turturro. “She brings a big-picture view that will help us define the best opportunities to address the needs of both long-standing and new real estate clients.”

Kate has worked with real estate developers and owners at Haley & Aldrich for the past 25 years, with a focus on facilitating urban and brownfield redevelopment. She has guided major facilities developments for universities in the Greater Boston area, as well as many projects on sites with complex industrial histories, including redevelopment on Superfund sites.

“Our clients don’t just build new buildings; they also buy, sell, and manage real estate assets. They need partners that can help them evaluate and manage all their business risks,” says Kate. “I have always had a passion for learning all I can about the challenges and opportunities that influence our clients’ needs, and I look forward to sharing and developing that passion for inquiry across all our real estate work.”
