Synopsis:
To address the challenges of higher tides and sea levels produced by climate change, Haley & Aldrich worked with co-authors to reimagine Boston’s Fort Point Channel area around an aqueous central park. This innovative design proposes a dual-use water management system and recreation area in the heart of the city. Haley & Aldrich’s project was awarded honorable mention in a competition among 50 teams.
